Higher than the ceiling!

Here’s how some of our Etex team members spent their 67 minutes on Mandela Day.

Thuti Ke Bohlale is an early childhood development centre in Thokoza. The centre’s owner, Martha Tebello Mapatane has helped the centre grow from a shelter to a crèche that looks after 25 children every day.

One of our warehouse teammates’ daughter attends the crèche, and it was suggested that we install a ceiling as the centre did not have one.

So, in acknowledgement of Martha and her staff’s hard work and investment in their local community, some of our staff spent their 67 minutes on installing a ceiling system. The building was in dire need of some refurbishment, and the gratitude of Martha and the children was a fantastic reward in itself.
