This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the country’s fire safety standards, solidifying Etex and Siniat’s roles as leading innovators in fire-resistant construction solutions. Shatterprufe®, a leading auto glass manufacturer known for its advanced technology and high-quality production, partnered with Etex to create a fire escape system that meets local fire safety regulations while offering top-level protection for its 1,500 employees. With a production capacity of over 1.2 million windscreens annually, employee safety was a top priority.

The proposal was presented to the team at Zutari Architects and FNB, who accepted, and the national rollout began for the refurbishment and revamp of all FNB branches in South Africa.

On 18 July 2024, Siniat South Africa reaffirmed its commitment to community development through a transformative initiative aimed at enhancing skills and uplifting local infrastructure. The Nelson Mandela Day initiative launched a specialised Drywall and Ceiling installation training program at a TVET college in Johannesburg, equipping 45 students with essential industry knowledge and practical skills to contribute meaningfully to the construction sector.
